Definition of Silencer

Aerodynamic noise is a common type of noise pollution, which can generate high sound levels from jet aircraft, rockets, to various power machinery, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, pneumatic tools, internal combustion generators, pressure vessels, and pipeline valves for intake and exhaust. One effective way to control this type of noise is to install silencers on the airflow channels or intake and exhaust ports of various aerodynamic equipment. A muffler is a device that allows airflow to pass smoothly while effectively preventing or reducing the propagation of sound energy outward.

According to the sound reduction mechanism of silencers, they can be divided into: resistive silencers, resistance silencers, impedance composite silencers, diffusion silencers, and loss silencers.

Main models of Yuanxing muffler

The YX-ZP100 muffler is an improved product developed by our company based on the national standard ZP100 muffler, mainly suitable for noise control in various ventilation systems. It has the characteristics of large noise reduction, low airflow resistance, fire and moisture prevention, sturdy structure, and easy installation.

The thickness of its sound-absorbing layer is 100mm, and the applicable air volume is 720-9000m3/h. The noise reduction is 15-20dB (A), and can be combined in series according to the noise reduction and actual on-site conditions.

YX-ZW type sound-absorbing elbow is suitable for ventilation systems with wind speeds not exceeding 8m/s. It can be used in conjunction with the YX-ZP100 type muffler produced by our factory and can change the direction of the noise source. According to the width W of the air duct, it is designed into three types: Type I W<500mm; Type II 630mm ≤ W ≤ 1000mm; Type III W ≥ 1000mm (with guide vanes required).

The YX-GP type muffler is a metal shell plate type muffler, suitable for large and medium-sized ventilation projects such as rail transit, highway tunnels, underground garages, and power stations. It has the characteristics of large ventilation capacity, high noise reduction, wide sound absorption frequency band, and small pressure loss. The frame and sound-absorbing plate are designed to be detachable for easy transportation and installation. The length L is divided into 1500mm and 2000mm, and the connecting flanges are reinforced with channel steel and angle steel. The structure is sturdy and can be assembled according to the applicable situation.

The YX-JP type silencer is a metal structure sheet type silencer suitable for large ventilation ducts. The sound-absorbing sheet is modular and directly installed in the duct using a fixed sheet. It can be combined according to the cross-sectional size of the duct, with strong adaptability. And movable pieces can be set up to provide maintenance channels for later equipment maintenance.

YX-PX disc muffler is a new type of serialized muffler, with a novel appearance, a wide range of uses, small volume, light weight, low resistance, and easy installation. Equipped with a sound-absorbing guide cone, the noise reduction is between 15-25dB (A), which highlights its applicability in situations where installation space is limited.
